We have guided hunters in Saskatchewan for over 40 years, welcoming guests from across North America who are looking for unforgettable hunting trips in Canada. We are a family-run operation, established by Keith and Carolyn Heisler in 1984, and today our location is known as one of the most trusted wilderness hunting lodges in Saskatchewan.
They have solidified an outstanding reputation in the outfitting industry, guiding successful black bear hunting and deer hunting trips for decades. They are long-time members of the Saskatchewan Outfitters Association (SOA) and Safari Club International (SCI), Key organizations that set high standards for ethical hunting trips in Canada.
Keith, an experienced outdoorsman and avid hunter and fisherman, has lived and hunted in the area for over 50 years. His deep knowledge of the land and wildlife makes our lodge a preferred destination for hunters seeking guided black bear hunting, deer hunting trips, and comfortable wilderness hunting lodges that offer both adventure and hospitality.
Our son Michael now runs the operations. Our professional guide team has many years of knowledge and experience in the outfitting industry.
They also have a lifetime of hunting themselves, which allows us to provide you with the highest possible chance for a successful hunt, and the best field care of your trophy.
You can be assured that our team will work hard, so your Northern Saskatchewan big game hunting trip is one you will not forget!
Located in Chitek Lake, Saskatchewan, just 230 kilometers north of the Saskatoon International Airport, our lodge is a preferred destination for hunters booking guided hunting trips in Canada. The area is known for wildlife, trophy potential, and pristine forest terrain ideal for black bear hunting and deer hunting trips.
We are allocated to hunt 134,400 acres of land in a prime forest area that borders the farmland in Wildlife Management Zone 67 — one of the strongest regions in Saskatchewan for free-range hunting trips in Canada.
All of our hunts are free range, and the majority of our hunting is done out of tree stands and heated ground blinds, making it ideal for safe and successful black bear hunting and deer hunting trips for all hunting styles and experience levels.
We offer clean and comfortable accommodations. Our fully modern wilderness hunting lodge has nine bedrooms, three bathrooms with showers, satellite TV, WiFi, comfortable beds, and a full-time camp cook to ensure you have the best stay around!
We also have walk-in coolers and freezers, and use well-maintained equipment for your comfort and safety. These amenities make our location one of the most trusted wilderness hunting lodges for guided hunting trips in Canada, with everything needed for a successful black bear hunting or deer hunting trip.
